Ghana have introduced several talents in her Creative Arts Industry especially in the Music Industry, some of whom I call legends, because their hard work and determination has been a great impact in putting original Ghanaian Music in the spotlight. Here are few of Ghana's Music Legends: Papa Yankson Papa Yankson was a highlife artiste, songwriter and music producer .'Wiase Mu Nsem", "WO Yere Anaa WO Maame", " Show Your Love", were some of his hit songs. He was awarded Grand Medal of Ghana during the 2006 National Honours and Awards Ceremony by President John Agyekum Kufour, in recognition of his input in Ghana music. Ghana is a country made up of diverse culture. This diversity can be seen in some of the mouth watering foods among the natives of Ghana. Here are some of these foods: Kenkey originates from the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Corn flour is used in preparing this meal. It can be served with pepper, stew or soup. Kenkey and grinded red pepper with fried fishes Fufu originates from the Ashanti Region. It is either prepared by pounding boiled yam, boiled cassava, boiled plantain or boiled potato served with soup. Fufu with light soup and meat. Ampesi is prepared with boiled yam,boiled plantain, boiled cocoyam or boiled cassava or a mix of these usually eaten with Kontomire (spinach)stew Ampesi with Kontomire (spinach) stew. Tourism is traveling for pleasure to see and enjoy facilities of other places. Over the years,local tourism in Ghana has been a great contributor to the revenue of the country, being the fourth foreign exchange earned aside gold, cocoa and oil & gas. Local tourism has been contributing to the Gross Domestic Product (G.D.P). Almost every holiday in Ghana, people visit the local tourist site. A learner from Henrietta Preparatory School Nima Few months ago, some Ghanaians where contemplating over the fact that Ghana's Education System for the basic school is objective based of which i am included,because it did not allow pupils to explore and feel part of the learning environment. The National Council For Curriculum and Assessment, based on the above has developed a new curriculum which is a shift from the objective based curriculum to a standard based curriculum with focus on strengthening the acquisition of the 4Rs ( Reading, wRiting, aRithmetic and cReativity ) as basic skills for life long learning and national development, which has been implemented since the beginning of 2019/2020 academic year in September by the basic and kindergarten schools in Ghana.
